Join Rabbi Rachel Barenblat and CBI community musicians for a music-filled celebration of Simchat Torah, the culmination of our fall festival season! All ages and stages are welcome, including families with children.
All are welcome as we celebrate Shabbat together with prayer, song, poetry, and heart. Some weeks the CBI choir and musicians will join Rabbi Rachel in leading prayer. Expect music, poetry, Torah teaching, and an opportunity to ritually let go of the week as we move together into sacred time.
Jointly led by Rabbi Rachel Barenblat (CBI) and by Rabbi David Markus (Congregation Shir Ami), this year's learning will explore the weekly parsha (Torah portion) through the lens of Hasidic commentaries, dipping into some of our tradition's richest sources of wisdom and spiritual nourishment. If anyone is observing a yahrzeit and needs to say kaddish, we'll close with Mourner's Kaddish. All sessions will be held online in Shir Ami's Zoom room and archived on Shir Ami's website.

Don’t miss our New Year’s first Bagel Brunch — munch, schmooze, see old friends, and make new ones! Please RSVP by no later than Friday, October 30 so that we can prepare enough food for this event. A suggested donation of $5 per adult is appreciated in order to help us offset expenses, but no one will be turned away due to financial hardship.
