Due to the impending snowstorm, our Tu BiShvat Concert has been POSTPONED once more. Our concert will now be held on Sunday, February 23 at 4:30pm. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused — thank you for understanding!
Come celebrate the natural world with a musical journey through the four seasons, following the progression of the Tu BiShvat seder from winter to spring to summer to fall. The CBI choir and instrumentalists will perform music spanning from the medieval period to the 21st century, expressing the beauty of nature and the human emotions that we experience during each season. Composers who will be featured include Clément Janequin, Antonio Vivaldi, Paul Hindemith, Samuel Barber, and Naomi Shemer. Light refreshments featuring some of the symbolic fruit and nuts one eats during Tu BiShvat will follow the concert’s conclusion.
