Join us on Friday night as we light candles and welcome Shabbat with prayer and song. Let go of the week, breathe in the “extra soul” that Shabbat brings, and let poetry and melody begin to replenish heart and soul.
This special Shabbat has been designated as Refugee Shabbat by HIAS. In the spirit of communicating the Jewish communities strong, shared support for refugees and asylum seekers, our d’var Torah and melodic choices that evening will draw on the theme of creating sanctuary.
