Countering Active Threat Training (CATT) is a comprehensive training program to counter an active threat event, developed especially for faith-based institutions & houses of worship. Learning objectives will include:
- Define an Active Threat
- Analyze your surroundings during an Active Threat situation
- Apply Run, Hide, Fight in an Active Threat situation
- Explain Law Enforcement priorities during an Active Threat
- Safely interact with Law Enforcement during an Active Threat
Stop The Bleed® training will provide community members with the skills to save lives by applying emergency first aid to control bleeding. Learning objectives will include:
- Understand why bleeding is the #1 preventable death after an injury & how to save a life
- Identify when life threatening bleeding is occurring
- Learn how to control bleeding when someone is injured & while waiting for first responders to arrive
