As we enter year 3 of pandemic, as we move deeper into a Jewish leap year, time feels out of sync. Join us for a ritual to recalibrate our sense of time as we bless the full moon of Adar-I and empower ourselves to rouse and reboot toward the coming spring.
Co-created and co-led by our own Rabbi Rachel with Rabbi David Evan Markus (Temple Beth El of City Island) and Rabbi Sonja Keren Pilz (Congregation Beth Shalom, Bozeman), collaborators in Bayit’s Liturgical Arts Working Group. Open to all.
Ideal ritual items to have on hand: kiddush cup and juice or wine to bless, candle and holder (ideally havdalah), any Judaica (e.g. tallit, chanukkiyah, shofar, Star of David, seder plate, other ritual objects), and if possible a stone or shell and something with scent.
