Move your bodies and connect with nature outdoors at the foothills of Mount Greylock on our beautiful backyard meditation labyrinth. Be inspired by sweeping views of the foothills of Mount Greylock and the gorgeous New England spring.
It will be a fun and relaxing session led by professional yoga teacher Jen Burt. We will explore a variety of yoga poses that will connect us to the 6th week of counting the Omer, a spiritual journey that connects Passover with Shavuot. We will check out poses that relate to humility and an undercurrent of strength. We will also practice some poses to prepare us for Shavuot and the receiving of the commandments. We will have an opportunity to enjoy a number of heart-opening poses and extensions and will practice feeling centered, focused, and relaxed through guided meditation. We’ll experience the positive effects of laughter to counteract anxiety and stress. Suitable for adults of all levels of yoga practice, from beginners to advanced.
Please bring a yoga mat or blanket to use if possible.
