Come together in community at Lake Paran (North Bennington, VT) to savor a unique meal, enjoy live music, and take in the views as we celebrate the shared cultural traditions of Arabs and Jews from the Middle East. As part of Lake Paran’s community meal series celebrating local culinary diversity, guest chefs Sarah Aljabani and Shira Sternberg offer a menu of their favorite Iraqi recipes, giving us a taste of the foods enjoyed by both Arabs and Jews from the region. Musician and ethnomusicologist Joseph Alpar brings Middle Eastern rhythms in this community collaboration not to be missed. This event is free and open to the public.
