CBI members Robin Brickman and Jeff Strait will share one of their favorite hikes in Williamstown. Except for a brief steep uphill beginning, this 2 mile hike is one-way downhill and offers some spectacular scenery. Taking a leisurely pace and leaving time to admire the views we will walk for 1.5 to 2 hours. This hike is suitable for both experienced and inexperienced hikers who are confident walkers. Near the bottom there is a beautiful open field with a picnic table. Wear sturdy shoes and bring a sandwich for lunch.
We will meet at the large parking lot at Petersburg Pass on Route 2 just across the New York State border at 10am to give us time to shuttle cars between the top and bottom, enjoy our hike, and get to our picnic spot shortly before noon.
Please RSVP to [email protected] by Saturday, August 5 so that we can send you necessary details and answer any questions.
