Thank you for understanding!\nIf you had already registered but are no longer able to attend or if you would like to be added to our waitlist\, please contact the office as soon as possible.\n\nAll are welcome to join us on Thursday\, April 2 at 6pm for our family-friendly Second Night Community Passover Seder! Relive the Exodus through ritual\, poetry\, song\, and story. We’ll savor familiar melodies\, stirring poetry\, an impromptu Exodus play put on by community kids\, and more. A full kosher-for-Pesach meal will be provided (with vegetarian option); bring your own kosher-for-Passover table wine if you would like something other than Manischewitz. \n\n☆ Tickets are $50/adult & $8/child (ages 5-18); children ages 4 & under are free. Please include the first & last names of all members of your party when registering. (Please use the email address of their parent/guardian when registering children.) If you would like to attend but the cost makes you hesitate\, please contact Rabbi Rachel as soon as possible.\nTickets must be paid for in full at the time of registration. DESCRIPTION:Join the CBI choir and musicians for a celebration of the Festival of Lights with music both old and new! As the days wind down toward the winter solstice and the longest night of the year\, Chanukah comes to remind us to take heart and seek the light of hope shining in dark times. Musical selections will include traditional Ashkenazi and Sephardi Chanukah songs as well as contemporary compositions. We’ll close with a family-friendly singalong featuring some favorite Chanukah tunes. \nAfter the concert\, we’ll segue into potluck refreshments\, dreidels and gelt\, and kid-friendly Chanukah arts and crafts. Please bring a contribution for the potluck table; the meal will be dairy / vegetarian / pescatarian\, so no meat please. In addition to RSVPing\, please visit the potluck sign-up page and let us know what you will bring — this will help us assure balance in our potluck offerings so there is something for everyone. \nOur Jewish Journeys students are currently collecting pasta donations for the Berkshire Food Project\, so please bring an unopened box of pasta with you to contribute to our cause. \nAll ages and faiths are welcome to attend this free community event! \nFunding to help support this event has been provided by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation.

SUMMARY:Shabbat Dinner & A Movie | The Path Forward
DESCRIPTION:Join the rabbi and members of the Israel-Palestine Learning Committee for a (vegetarian / dairy) potluck Shabbat dinner and a movie! We’ll begin at 6:10pm with a screening of The Path Forward (2024\, 40 minutes\, documentary)\, where we’ll learn about bridge-builders charting a new path for the land they all love. No matter what your politics are around Israel and Palestine\, we think this film offers both realism and hope. Afterwards\, we’ll meet each other with open hearts for a discussion over a shared Shabbat meal at 7pm. We hope you’ll join us – and bring a friend. A trailer for the film can be viewed below.
