SUMMARY:NAZA Jewish Community Discussion
DESCRIPTION:After attending the 1:30pm showing of NAZA (2026) at Images Cinema (50 Spring Street in Williamstown\, MA)\, please join Rabbi Rachel Barenblat at CBI beginning at 3:15pm for a conversation about what the film brings up for us\, how we respond to it emotionally and spiritually (and how we respond to each other emotionally and spiritually)\, and where\, as a community\, we hope to go from here. Come prepared to listen as well as to speak and to follow our Israel/Palestine discussion guidelines (below). Hosted by the CBI Israel/Palestine Education Committee. \n☆ Participants are asked to purchase their own ticket to the 1:30pm screening in advance — thank you for understanding. \n\n\nGuidelines for Israel/Palestine Discussion at CBI \n\nPlease use “I-statements” (“I feel / I think / I wonder”) rather than speaking in generalities (“everybody knows…”).\nPlease make space for each other and be mindful of who hasn’t yet spoken.\nAnd please make a practice of allowing disagreements to stand. We are not all going to feel the same way\, and that’s ok. Our purpose is not to convince each other; it’s to learn together and to practice being in community with each other even when we disagree.
