Relive the Exodus through ritual\, poetry\, song\, and story. We’ll savor familiar melodies\, stirring poetry\, an impromptu Exodus play put on by community kids\, and more. A full kosher-for-Pesach meal will be provided (with vegetarian option); bring your own kosher for Passover table wine if you would like something other than Manischewitz. \n\n☆ Tickets are $50/adult & $8/child (ages 5-18); children ages 4 & under are free. Please include the first & last names of all members of your party when registering. If you would like to attend but the cost makes you hesitate\, please contact Rabbi Rachel as soon as possible.\nTickets must be paid for in full at the time of registration. This year we’re celebrating indoors (no bonfire) due to regional wildfire risk\, but we’ll have just as much joy and music as in years past. We’ll share a homemade meal of pizza\, salad\, and sufganiyot. Activities will include a crafts station (make a gift for a friend\, or sit down with a family member to make a Chanukah craft project to display every year)\, a spirited song circle\, a dreidel spinning contest\, and a recipe swap for latkes / sufganiyot / other festive treats. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a concert of great Jewish music from throughout the ages! At Shavuot we celebrate the revelation of Torah in all of its forms\, and we gather to offer up the “first fruits” of the spring harvest. We’ll hear great music\, both Sefardic and Ashkenazi\, that spans different eras of Jewish history\, including compositions by Flory Jagoda\, Salomone Rossi\, Naomi Shemer\, Salomon Sulzer\, Debbie Friedman\, Louis Lewandowski\, and more. Under the direction of Adam Green\, the Congregation Beth Israel choir and musicians will offer up a spring harvest of spirit and harmony. \nThe concert will be followed by a celebratory potluck. Following Ashkenazi Shavuot custom\, this meal is designated as a dairy meal (that means no meat; items may be dairy\, vegetarian\, vegan\, or pescatarian).
